Glee Season 3 Character?
I love the Television show glee and love acting. But I’m only sixteen and they only accept over 18′s. I would love to be on glee or any television playing a drug addict. My glee character could a druggy who falls in love with Rachel, but finds out she still has feelings for Finn. He then starts to self-harm and tries to stab Finn. I think it would be awesome. What do you think?

This isn’t my best performance, I only learned the lines online like after five minutes. Can you tell I’m Irish?
I think that’s a bit dark for Glee…maybe by the time you’re 18, Glee would have become a bit more edgy.

Not illustrated. Excerpt: Joseph Patrick “Joe” Escalante (born January 30, 1963) is an American musician, record label owner, radio host, film and music video director, and amateur matador, as well as a former television executive and entertainment lawyer. He is most widely known as the bassist for the punk rock band The Vandals, the owner of their record label Kung Fu Records, and the host of Barely Legal Radio on the Los Angeles/Orange County radio station Indie 103.1 FM. Escalante was born in Long Beach, California to a Mexican father and Irish mother and grew up in Rossmoor, California, an unincorporated area of Orange County. As a teenager he learned to play drums and began performing in local garage bands. After graduating from Los Alamitos High School in Orange County, Escalante received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA where he specialized in Old Norse. After doing graduate work at the University of Iceland in Reykjavík, he entered Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and received his Juris Doctor, specializing in anti-trust litigation. In 1980, at age 17, Escalante joined the punk rock band The Vandals, becoming their first permanent drummer. He would remain the sole constant member of the band throughout the rest of their career. They released their debut EP Peace Thru Vandalism in 1982 through Epitaph Records. In 1984 Escalante and the other band members appeared in the Penelope Spheeris film Suburbia and released their first album When in Rome Do as the Vandals. In 1987 they appeared in another Spheeris film, Dudes. By 1989 Escalante had moved from the drums into the bass guitar position, and fluctuations in the band’s membership had left him as the only member remaining from the original recording lineup. In order to continue the band, … More: |

American Vibraphonists $14.14 Purchase includes free access to book updates online and a free trial membership in the publisher’s book club where you can select from more than a million books without charge. Excerpt: Natalie Anne Merchant (born October 26, 1963) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. She joined the alternative rock band 10,000 Maniacs in 1981 and left it to begin her solo career in 1993. Natalie Merchant was born October 26, 1963 in Jamestown, New York, the third of four children of Anthony and Ann Merchant. Her paternal grandfather, who played the accordion, mandolin and guitar, emigrated to the United States from Sicily; his surname was “Mercante” before it was Anglicized. Her maternal grandfather, a cartoonist, piano tuner and member of a barbershop quartet, was Irish. Her parents divorced when she was eight-years-old, and her mother later remarried. As a child, her mother listened to music (Beatles, Al Green, Aretha Franklin) and encouraged her children to study music, but she wouldn’t allow TV after Natalie was 12. “I was taken to the symphony a lot because my mother loved classical music. But I was dragged to see Styx when I was 12. We had to drive 100 miles to Buffalo, New York. Someone threw up next to me and people were smoking pot. It was terrifying. I remember Styx had a white piano which rose out of the stage. It was awe-inspiring and inspirational.” “She had show tunes, she had the soundtrack from West Side Story and South Pacific. And then eventually… she’d always liked classical music and then she married a jazz musician, so that’s the kind of music I was into. I never really had friends who sat around and listened to the stereo and said ‘hey, listen to this one’, so I’d never even heard of who Bob Dylan was until I was 18.” During 19881989, Natalie claimed she still didn’t have a TV: “I grew up in a house where no one watched the news on television and no one read the paper. I’ve been discovering these things as … More: |
